In short
- You can use German Prep without an account. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address or payment details.
- There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts.
- Your learning data is stored only in your browser. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Our hosting provider processes technical connection data to deliver the website.

Data stored in your browser
The following data is saved in your browser's local storage on your device so the website can remember your progress. We cannot access it.

Speaking recordings are kept only in the memory of the open browser tab and are deleted when you leave the page. They are never uploaded.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, the requested address, the time and your browser type. Vercel processes this data to deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Data may be processed in the USA and other countries. Details are in Vercel's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and, under KVKK, Art. 5 (2) (f) KVKK.
If you write to us, we use your e-mail address and message only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed. Our current mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail).
Your rights
Under the GDPR (Art. 15–21) and KVKK (Art. 11) you have the right to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Turkey the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), in the EU the data protection authority of your country. Because your learning data stays in your browser, you can export and delete it yourself on the Account page. For anything else, contact us by e-mail.
Changes
We will update this notice before introducing accounts, payments, error monitoring or any other new processing, and show the date of the last update at the top.
