Our principles
Original learning material
Lessons, questions, listening scripts, writing and speaking tasks are written by German Prep. We do not copy exam papers or textbooks.
Facts with sources
Exam formats, scoring rules and university requirements are taken from official documents. Each fact links to its source with the date we last checked it.
Rules you can read
Placement levels, scores, weak areas and study plans come from fixed, published rules — no hidden algorithms and no AI guesswork.
Private by default
There is no sign-up, no tracking and no advertising. Your answers and plans are stored in your browser, and you can export or delete them at any time.
Where we are today
German Prep is free and works without an account. Accounts with cross-device sync, personal advisors and full mock exams are planned; the advisor and admin areas you can open today are demos with sample data.
The listening recordings use synthetic voices and have not yet been reviewed by a human editor — each recording page says so. Facts about exams and admissions were last checked on 9 October 2026.
