Partly modelled

The cited rules are official, but some parts of the real scoring are not modelled. Results are estimates for planning — only the exam provider issues results.

What this calculator does not do
  • The minimum points required in each written subtest and in each writing task are not modelled. A written result marked as passed here can still fail one of those minimums.
  • Reading and listening raw scores are converted to points with tables on the official score sheet; enter the converted points.

Recognition

  • RO-DT 2020 § 8 (2) (c): ÖSD C2 exempts from the DSH/TestDaF requirement in Germany.
  • ÖSD C1 is not listed in the RO-DT; acceptance in Germany depends on the university. Austrian universities publish their own requirements.

Preparation tips

  • The per-subtest minimums are printed on the official score sheet — check the current model test (Modellsatz) on osd.at.
